Game Jams

I love participating in Game Jams.  These are the games I have made so far during jams of varying lengths.  Some of these games I have taken an interest in and am actively developing.

Pie, Anyone?

Pie, Anyone? was made for the game jam I organised and ran in May 2019 at University.  It was the last jam of the year, and my last jam at Solent.  The theme was Take One, Leave One.

XO

XO was made during Solent's 2019 Winter Game Jam.  I worked in a team of three other people, including an artist, and three programmers.  The theme was Dreams.

Dog In A Box

Dog In A Box was made during Solent's 2018 Spring Game Jam.  I worked with one other programmer and made a VR arcade game. The theme was Man's Best Friend.

Waist Of Time

WoT was made in March 2017 during a Solent Game Jam.  The player relies on a time manipulation to solve puzzles.  The theme was Time.

Czechmate

Czechmate was made in February 2016 during a Solent Game Jam.  I worked with an artist to create a local multiplayer chess boxing game.  The theme was Sports.

Color Jam

Color Jam was the first game I ever made during a game jam.  Made in UE4, I worked with two artists and a sound designer to create a platformer with the theme limited mechanics.

University Assignments

Throughout University I had a chance to make some really cool games.  Some of which have gone further and I am still actively developing.

VR Party Pack

VR Party Pack was made for my third year Final Major Project.  It is a VR collection of party games.

Dog City

Dog City is an iOS and Android game made for my Mobile Applications unit.  In this game you choose a dog and their look and play minigames, fetch toys and walk your dog.

Artificial Intelligence For Games

AI For Games had me implementing an AI for a game of capture the flag.  There were fighting elements and tactical elements to the game.

Sound For Video and Computer Games

In Sound for Games I had to fully implement audio in a level built in UE4. This was done using Audition to edit sounds, and Wwise to implement them.

Luna

Luna was made for my Engineering Software Systems unit, which focussed around the principles of Agile and Waterfall methodology.  Luna was developed using Agile.

Undead V Undead

Undead V Undead was another game made for my Engineering Software Systems unit.  It was developed using the Waterfall methodology.

Click To Estate

Click to Estate was made for my Casual Games unit.  It is a clicker game, in which you click a basic building to gain bricks which you can then use to build other houses to generate more brick to build your real estate empire.

Swash Bucklers

Swash Bucklers was made for my Mobile Game Fundamentals unit.  It is a simple iOS and Android game made to a very specific brief.

Personal Projects

In my spare time I love to develop, whether it is software or hardware.  These are projects that have either been made during a game jam, for a University assignment, or have just been something I thought would be fun to work on.

VR Party Pack

VR Party Pack was made for my third year Final Major Project.  It is a VR collection of party games.

Dog In A Box

Dog In A Box was made during Solent's 2018 Spring Game Jam.  I worked with one other programmer and made a VR arcade game. The theme was Man's Best Friend.

You Can

You Can was made in two days by a team of four for a worldwide competition.  We based the game around my mental health experiences as the theme was "how computers can make the world a better place"

Inky

Inky is a simple iOS and Android game where you have to match colours to segments on a circle.
